Biology is among Concordia's signature programs, owning a stellar reputation for placing students in prestigious graduate programs and careers.

In addition to classroom interactions, biology students collaborate with faculty on research at an exceptionally high level – designing experiments and serving as co-authors on projects ranging from examining the effect of diabetes on blood vessels to studying elephants in Tanzania. The chance to present at national conferences is among the exciting outcomes of their creative research work.

With a heavy emphasis on hands-on learning, biology students gain real-world experience that gives them distinct advantages when they graduate. Whether you plan a career in research, the health professions or environmental studies, the biology program at Concordia will prepare you to go farther faster.
